Renee and Till von Ruexleben founded Lake Oconee Equestrian Center in 2024, inspired by a desire to create something lasting, beautiful, and deeply connected to the land.
Originally from Germany, they grew up immersed in nature and animals, and when they moved to Lake Oconee in 2021, they dreamed of building a life for their daughter rooted in the rhythms of rural living, where days are shaped by fresh air and time spent alongside horses.
Lake Oconee Equestrian Center is a place where genuine devotion, quiet luxury, and a like-minded circle of equestrians naturally come together.
Every detail is considered and nothing is rushed, reflecting Renee and Till’s belief that the most meaningful experiences are shaped through patience, stewardship, and shared moments—both in the saddle and beyond it.

As our CEO and Co-Founder, Renee brings a background in business psychology, and extensive leadership experience in sustainability, private club management, and team success. A lifelong animal lover, Renee’s dedication to the Club community is at the heart of everything we do.

As our COO and Co-Founder, Till oversees Operations, equipment, IT, and property security. Passionate about sustainability, Till applies his expertise to maintaining a safe, efficient, and forward-thinking equestrian environment, ensuring both riders and horses have the best experience possible.
